One of my weakness when it comes to makeup has to be eyeshadow palettes. In fact, I have an entire drawer full of them. I KNOW that this is NOT normal for most people, however, I just love the options and am fascinated with beautiful pigmented colors!
If you love makeup as much as I do, then you probably have some favorite palettes of your own! Today I thought I’d share my favorite eyeshadow palettes and talk to you about why each one of them is considered a “favorite.”
My Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes
1. Urban Decay Naked Palette
The OG Naked Palette by Urban Decay is just a holy grail for me because of the colors and the pigment. They blend beautifully and they are colors that I would wear every single day. It’s an oldie but a goodie for sure! Psst…I have hit pan on several of these colors. I actually need to buy another one for fear they will stop making this palette.
2. Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette
When this palette first came out I was a little iffy on purchasing it. I went to the store, played with it a little bit and realized that these are the perfect colors for me. I can even get double use out of this as I can contour with it also! The rust, amber looking colors are the most perfect colors to transition your eyeshadows with. 3. MAC Warm Neutrals Palette
MAC is probably one of the first beauty brands that I fell in love with and they still have some of my favorite makeup still to this day. Their palettes that they have are incredible. I am particularly in love with the Warm Neutrals Palette. It’s got everything I need for everyday looks and also special occasion eyeshadows. HA!
4. Morphe 350 Palette
If you can’t tell by now, I have a thing for palettes that tend to go a bit on the warmer side. All of those gorgeous browns, nudes and rust looking pigments just speak to my soul! This Morphe 350 Palette was a hard one to get my hands on. The problem is that it sells out constantly, but the good news is that they restock all of the time. You just have to keep checking to see if it’s your lucky day or not. Psst…today IS your lucky day! It’s in stock baby!
This palette retail for ONLY $22.99 and it’s one of the best palettes that I own as far as quality. The shadows are buttery, soft and blend so easily. You get 35 colors to choose from for under $30.00! If you’ve been on the fence about this one, place an order. If you haven’t heard of it before, place an order. It’s THAT good! 5. Laura Mercier Eye Artist’s Palette
This is a great palette that features both cool and warm shades. I got this a couple years ago for Christmas and it’s that palette I pull out every once in a while when I want to play with color. The plums in this palette are stunning and are so wearable for everyday looks. Heads up on this palette, the top row features the cool colors and the bottom row features the warm shades! Mom, if you’re reading this review, this palette would be incredible for you skin tone. Just an FYI! Want to read my original review of this palette? Click here!
6. Urban Decay Naked 3
I know I mentioned the OG Naked Palette from Urban Decay above, but since there are several to choose from, I wanted to talk about another one of my favorites from them. The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is for those of you who love everything about rose gold. From the packaging, to the shadows, it’s a knock-out for me! The colors are all based on rose-gold naturals and they’re stunning! Want to read my original review on this palette? Click here!
7. Too Faced Chocolate Bar
It not only smells like chocolate, but the colors are such a beautiful mixture of chocolates, gold and berries. This is one of my go-to palettes in the Fall for sure! The colors are very pigmented and the mixture of colors that they included works for so many skin tones!
I could go on and on about eyeshadow palettes that I love, but these tend to be (for right now at least) the ones that I reach for most often. I have a lot of single eyeshadow colors that aren’t in palettes that I love, but palettes are so much easier for me. They hold several colors and they give me options. Plus they save space! Maybe next time I’ll post my favorite eyeshadows that aren’t in a palette!
I’m dying to know what some of your favorite eyeshadow palettes are! Please comment below and let me know!

I definitely don’t have as many palettes as you, but my Naked 2 palette has multiple spots showing the bottom of the package. I also have an It Cosmetics one that has a few bare spots! I will keep the Laura Mercier palette in mind when I need another one!

There really isn’t anything like a good warm neutrals palette! I don’t wear my Naked 3 palette as much as I should, but I love how my makeup looks every time I wear it. So many great palettes!

I am starting to experiment with eyeshadows (how I never got into them before now i’ll never know) and i’m LOVING palettes. I just need to practice more before I start investing into better palettes. I really want the tarte In Bloom one and the OG Naked palette. If i’m ever in Georgia you are doing my makeup!!

My all-time favorite eyeshadow palette is the Lorac Pro, the original one. I just love all the colors, and it’s what I used on my wedding day 🙂 Also, you don’t want to know how many palettes I have in my collection. I’m slowly starting to take an inventory of everything in my makeup collection, and palettes are the one thing I know I have way too many of lol
