Birchbox sent me an email asking if I was interested in receiving a complimentary box from Nuance/CVS. I had already tried a few of the products from the product line, but I hadn’t tried any of the hair care or makeup items yet. I filled out a quick questionnaire and then I played the waiting game. There was no guarantee that I was going to get the box, but I was hopeful! I got my regular Birchbox and this one arrived about a week or so after that one came. So I got some awesome products from Birchbox this month!
Nuance is a line from Salma Hayek and is inspired by her grandmother’s homemade beauty recipes. This line is made for women of all ages and is backed by renowned chemists who have created these amazing products for everyone to enjoy. They are packed with exotic botanicals and are paraben free. Let’s be honest here. Salma Hayek is an amazing beauty and I don’t know about you, but if she is suggesting this is what she uses to help maintain her beauty, you don’t have to ask me twice about trying them.
First impressions mean a lot to me and this box was all about impressing you right off the bat. The box that it comes in is super nice and carries the Nuance logo on it. It was packaged like a typical Birchbox with an information card on top of the products, which were hidden under colorful tissue paper. It felt pretty heavy so I knew there must be a good bit of products included in this box.

I have already used and loved the AM/PM Anti-Aging Super Cream. It’s a fantastic cream that has Tepezocuhuite. If you were like me you were probably asking yourself, WTH is that? It’s an antioxidant Mexican tree extract that is the powerhouse behind this cream. It also contains Vitamins A and E. I LOVE this moisturizer and it is a staple in my night time routine as of lately. It retails for $19.99 and is worth every penny.
Look at the top to the main picture and look at the long, slender stick like object in the picture. Did you look? Ok. That is the Lights, Camera, Action Eye Trio. How genius is this?? It’s a stacked product that features an Eyeshadow, Highlighter and Eyeliner. It’s gorgeous and I can’t get over how pigmented these products were. I have used this several times already and can’t wait to try more of the makeup line. This retails for only $8.79. Run to get this product….seriously.

I always like beauty samples. Particularly those for hair. I like trying new gels, conditioner, shampoos, hair serums, all sorts of stuff.
I’ve gotten nice creams for skin as well and always look forward to getting them. I agree with you about beauty samples being a nice treat.
Who doesn’t want to try new stuff every month/ it makes you feel good when you can pamper yourself with lots of different things, without spending too much money.
