Do you sometimes forget about clothes you have? I know that I do all the time. Not to mention jewelry and shoes. I’ll see something and totally laugh when I realize it’s been sitting in that box for all those years. When you get a nice collection going, especially if you are a fashion lover, we sometime forget to rotate our closets, shoes and jewelry. Thing end up all the way in the back and we never see them. I have a solution for that.

Shopatico is a place where you can have a visual closet. You can upload images of clothing items and also items you’d like to purchase from stores. You can create a visual “look book” and have ideas of outfits that you’d like to put together and also keep track of items you have purchased online or in stores. If you purchased items online, simply send an email containing your order confirmation to myorders@shopatico.com and they will take care of adding the items you purchased into your Shopatico account. I have to admit, at first it seemed a little confusing to me, but once I got a chance to sit down and really work with the website, I actually found that I could really find it useful. Here are a couple of looks I put together of items I own or items I’d like to own:

My first reaction when looking over this site was, am I really ever going to use this? Do I have time for this? For me, it’s a great way to keep ideas of future looks together and if I really wanted to share outfit pieces with my readers, this is a great way to do it. I can keep track of everything and have it visible. For a normal person, who doesn’t spend hours researching fashion and trends, I still think this is a great tool to be able to use. Do I think it’s a little time consuming? Yes and no. It’s not going to be for everyone, but for the person who loves fashion and wants to share their ideas with others and keep looks together, this is excellent. I say give it a try and see for yourself! I’d love to see some outfit ideas you put together and I’ll continue to share mine!
