I have heard so much about the Baby Lips Lip Balm by Maybelline, but never remembered to pick up them up when I did a drug store run. Finally, I grabbed two and decided to give them a try. I got them for under $3.00 (each) and I figured if they didn’t work that great, I wasn’t out a lot of money. I go through lip balm like crazy. I can’t stand having dry lips and I have probably tried a million different types of lip balms. There are days where I don’t want to wear lipstick, but still want a little bit of color on my lips. The Baby Lips Lip Balm are the perfect product for such a day.
I was quite surprised how much these moisturized my lips. Maybelline claims that this product will protect and moisturize your lips for a full 8 hours. I’m not sure about 8 hours, but they do last a really long time. I liked them because they felt very nice on my lips, they weren’t sticky, they smell great and they added a very sheer amount of color to my lips. I got two colors, Peach Kiss and Pink Punch, and love both of them. The colors of each of these are gorgeous and they almost give off the illusion of a gloss.
Maybelline really did a great job with the packaging of this product. I love the tubes and the colors that they selected. They are bright, colorful and pretty adorable. Don’t want color on your lips, but really want to try these? You are in luck! I’m pretty sure that the color Quench and possibly Peppermint, look clear. So even if you don’t want color, but you want moisture, you can still totally use this product.
For $3, how can you go wrong?? I have an addiction to a certain Lip Balm from Sephora and it is really expensive. This might possibly be a great option to use instead. I got both of these at Wal Mart, but I have seen them at Target, Ulta, drugstores. I have heard some of the colors are harder to find than others, but I haven’t looked into that yet. I say, pick one up and give it a try! Your lips will thank you and feel much better!

I’m definitely going to pick up a tube – I currently use L’Oreal Colour Riche Balm in Rose Elixer (#218) but it’s packaged more like a lipstick than a lipbalm. I do love it – very moisturizing and gives a sheer pink color to your lips. But I’m going to pick up this Baby Lips – I think I would like it 🙂

I love the L’Oreal Colour Riche Balm as well, but these are much more moisturizing! Sometimes when I used the L’Oreal, I acutally felt like it dried out my lips. Let me know what you think!
