What I love about these posts is that they educate you on brands and products you might not have even known about. Maybe there is an amazing drugstore product someone swears by or maybe someone has found their holy-grail mascara. Hearing what people love and consider their top five beauty products is always so interesting to me! I’ve picked up a lot of products people have mentioned in this series!
Today’s featured guest is Kristen from The Atlantan Beauty. She’s a blogger that I’ve been following for quite a while and I think she has some serious skills when it comes to makeup. Her looks range from neutral to very colorful and playful. I love that about her and I love following her because she puts together makeup looks and colors that I wouldn’t even think of combining. Plus, she has a real talent when it comes to makeup application.

What is your first favorite product and why did you choose it?

What is your second favorite product and why did you choose it?
Becca Hydra-Mist Set and Refresh Powder. This locks my foundation and/or concealer in place. When I wear this, I know my makeup will still good at the end of the day. And it never looks heavy or cakey. It also feels cooling, which is great during the summer.
What is your third favorite product and why did you choose it?
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Light. I’m pretty fair and before this bronzer, I couldn’t wear any. All of them were too pigmented and too warm. I would look crazy. I can use a light hand for a very subtle hint of warmth, or I can layer it up. Either way, it still looks good. It blends perfectly and it smells like a beach vacation!
What is your fourth favorite product and why did you choose it?
Fenty Beauty Killawatt Foil Freestyle Duo in Lightning Dust/Fire Crystal. The tone of this highlighter is just perfect for lighter skin tones. I love that you have two options. Lightning Dust is a subtle highlight and Fire Crystal is much more intense. Neither enhances texture and it just has the most gorgeous glow. I have a ton of highlighters, but I keep reaching for this one and it’s the only one I will repurchase.
What is your fifth favorite product and why did you choose it?
Clinique’s Liquid Facial Soap For Oily Skin. I will try other cleansers, but I always come back to this one. My skin just likes it. It doesn’t dry out my skin and I experience fewer breakouts when I use it. Even if I am testing out something new, I keep this on hand.
