I wanted to start sharing some of my Beauty Wish List items with you guys a bit more often.  I’m constantly researching and jotting down products I see mentioned by other bloggers, beauty editors and skin care therapists.  So my lists are always getting bigger and I’m always curious about the new “trends” hitting the shelves.

I thought I’d start with the “basics” today.  Cleansers.  They are kind of an ironic thing really.  They seem pretty basic out of all of the skincare items that we use daily, BUT Cleansers have come a long way.  Truth is, some aren’t that basic anymore.  I’ve come up with 8 new-to-me Cleansers (these are more of the high-end scale) that I am really wanting to try. I think you should take a look, ha!

Beauty Wish List: Cleansers

1. Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm ($105)

I’ve seen Essie Button rave about this product and it’s always something I see in magazines,etc.  So it’s been on my beauty radar for quite some time.  This is a thermal cleansing balm that will remove all makeup (including waterproof), deeply cleanses, and moisturizes the skin.  This cleansing balm contains Hungarian Moor Mud (from Lake Heviz, the largest thermal lake in Europe) which has high levels of calcium and magnesium carbonates to cleanse and detoxify the skin.  I love a good cleansing balm and I’ve read nothing but positives about this brand.

2.  AESOP Amazing Face Cleanser ($47)

The citrus- based botanicals in AESOP Amazing Face Cleanser is great for warmer climates (I know not all of us are dealing with cold weather right now!) and great for oily, congested skin.   Again, another skincare line that I’ve heard nothing but raving reviews. I actually have quite a wish list started with this company!

3. Dr Jart PORE MEDIC Pore Minish Cleansing Bubble ($32)

This dual-action cleansing foam helps control excess oil and enlarged pores.  This cleanser has a duo of bubble mechanisms (say what?!?) to help tighten and unclog pores while removing dead skin cells and controlling oil production.  Seems pretty fancy, huh! I’ve seen this in Sephora so many times, but I’ve never picked it up.  I read another article recently that finally made me add this to my must-try list.  I’m really curious about this whole bubble mechanism thing, ha! Plus, anything that can help my pores-I’m game!

4. Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser ($45)

Oh man. We’re getting into a skincare line that I’ve drooled over for quite some time.  Sunday Riley is a skincare line that I’ve been obsessing over for quite some time, but the frugal part of me keeps hesitating to bite the bullet and make a purchase.  So I figure, we’ll start with their cleanser and work my way up to the serums (which I dream about).  This cleanser is again, not so basic! This gel-based, foaming cleanser contains high amounts of Vitamin C and essential oils.  it purifies the skin, tightens pores and supports collagen and circulation with essential oils to tone and balance the skin. This cleanser will detoxify, minimize pore size and help achieve a flawless “ceramic-smooth” complexion.  I love adding Vitamin C and Essential Oils to my skincare routine and there’s just something about this cleanser that I really, really want to try.

5. Tata Harper Regnerating Cleanser ($38)

This cleanser does a lot, but is still gentle enough for my sensitive skin-so I’ve heard.  This four-in-one cleanser helps improve the skin’s radiance, purifies and minimizing the look of enlarge pores and also hydrates the skin. This cleanser features fresh enzymes, clays and essential oils.  it contains Microspherical beads that polish the sin and help with blackheads, but still doesn’t strip the skin of moisture.  This cleanser will leave your skin balanced, hydrated and glowing-PLUS smelling of Grapefruit, which will help boost your energy levels.  Are you sold yet?

6.  GLAMGLOW THIRSTYCLEANSE Daily Treatment Cleanser ($39)

This daily mud to foam cleanser is perfect for dry and dehydrated skin.  This cleanser combines the power of mud and foam for an entirely new way of cleansing your skin.  So imagine you have mud, but them you have this moisture-rich foam that lathers and rinses away makeup, dirt and other junk we have in our skin.  PLUS, it’s going to help moisturize the skin.  This features a Brazillian Yellow Clay to help remineralize the skin, pure green coconut water to boost the skin for immediate hydration and olive milk that is rich in five olive lips and proteins to help replenish the skin, Plumeria Flower Blosson extract which is rich in Omega 3,6, and 9 to help restore the skin barrier function. It also features Indian gooseberry which revitalizes and restores natural skin clarity while TEAOXI olive leaf powder delivers natural Linoleic Acid to help maintain moisture.  This cleanser does so much I had to re-read the descriptions several times.  I’m a HUGE fan of their mud masks, so when I heard that the cleanser was being released-I knew this was one I had to try.

7. Dr. Dennis Gross Colar Smart Cleanser & Mask ($28)

I love Dr. Dennis Gross products.  Seriously game changers, folks.  I recently read about this new cleanser-mask hybrid and I got really interested.  This features a  Citrus Enzyme Bead Complex, which releases actives that assist with anti-aging. What is really cool about this product is that as you cleanse, the cleanser changes color and it reveals where you’ve properly cleansed and the areas that you missed.  It helps to remove girl, oil and makeup.  It helps to clear pores and offers a gentle, non-irritating exfoliation.  You can also use this cleanser as a mask!  It will help with brightening your complexion, detoxifying and firming the skin.

Research results: In a consumer study after 3 weeks: 90% reported skin felt resurfaced, smoothed and polished. 85% reported that skin appeared brighter with an improvement in tone and clarity. 85% reported this formula cleaned out their pores and skin felt more youthful and hydrated. – Sephora Website
