Beautypedia (reviews from Paula’s Choice) recently had a dupe alert for an ultra expensive Giorgio Armani Foundation. They compared the e.l.f. Studio Flawless Finish Foundation to the Giorgio Armani Designer Lift Firming Smoothing Foundation SPF 20. I haven’t tried the Giorgio Armani Foundation, but I did realize that the e.l.f. foundation they were talking about was the same foundation I’ve looked at a hundred times at Target. So on my next trip to Target, I picked it up. I’ll admit that I didn’t have high hopes for the e.l.f. foundation, just because I had heard some pretty bad reviews about it before. I was left intrigued though because Beautypedia has some great reviews and I truly value what they share about products.

I LOVED the foundation. First of all, it’s oil-free, fragrance free and has an SPF 15. LOVE IT! It has a great pigmentation and I will say that this is a little bit of a more medium to full coverage foundation. I have heard complaints that people said it applied heavy, but I used my beauty blender and it went on perfect. If you don’t have a beautyblender sponge, try using it with a regular makeup sponge dampened. It covers all of my redness and hides my pores so good. It does great on my oily skin and I only have to touch up with powder every so often. I had no issues with breaking out or it causing my sensitive skin to go crazy.

I’ve been curious about this e.l.f. foundation, too, because I was trying to find an inexpensive alternative to Make Up Forever HD Foundation. I ended up buying Mac.. but I may need to pick this up just to try it out.
