Fall Favorites Tag

 

 

Whitney from The Whitney Story is the inspiration for this blog post.  I recently got caught up on her blog and I loved her Fall Favorites Tag post that she wrote. Since it is Fall and we all know by now that I am obsessed love everything about this season, so let’s actually take it one step further and talk about my Fall favorites! 

 
Favorite Candle: Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin from Bath & Body Works is one of my very favorites!  It’s sweet and also loaded with cinnamon and it just has this sweet, vanilla spiciness to it.  YUMM!!

 
Favorite Lip Color: I have no idea how to answer this honestly.  I have been wearing either a nice nude lip lately OR a heavy berry lip.  I have been loving the new it Cosmetics Blurred Lines Lipsticks lately and I’ll be talking about those on the blog next week!

 
Favorite Drink: While I will always be a basic girl at heart and love PSL’s from Starbucks, I try to not indulge on them that often.  I have always loved a good Cider when it gets a little cooler outside!

 
Favorite Blush: How does one pick one favorite blush? I’ve been really enjoying the Tarte Holiday Palette that I talked about on the blog a couple weeks ago.  In case you missed it, here is the post! 

 
Favorite Clothing Item: Right now it’s everything sweaters.  Any kind of sweater. Also, I’m trying really hard to get more into the ankle boot trend and I’d love to step up my athletic shoe game! (Vivienne, if you’re reading this-I need to sport some awesome Adidas like you!) I just posted about one of my favorite go-to Plaid shirts that I recently picked up from Target. Favorite Fall Movie: I don’t honestly have a favorite Fall movie. Maybe It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown?!  

 
Favorite Fall TV Show: I have no idea where to even begin with TV shows because there seem to be so many good shows on lately, BUT I love a good period piece (Downton Abbey can’t come on quick enough) and just finished watching Outlander.  I heard so much about it and I got into it very, very quickly.  Such a good show!  Also, I love Thursday night TV!! Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder.  American Horror Story Hotel has been scary the living sh$& out of me this season!

 
Favorite Thanksgiving Food: This will be the oddest answer ever, but I love canned cranberry sauce.  Sure, the homemade one is fantastic, but the canned one takes me back to memories of my grandmother’s house.  Also, my mother in law’s dressing recipe is so good, I’ll be sharing it closer to the holiday’s! 

 
Favorite Halloween Costume: Another shocking confession-I am not a fan of Halloween.  It’s not that I don’t like seeing the kids dressed up and all of that, I’m just really not a fan of costumes myself.  I have no idea why, but it’s the truth! I’ll just pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters (if they actually come around this year, last year we had zero kids-seriously!) and then I’ll be done with Halloween, ha!
