Can you believe that February is done! Hello, March and some gorgeous Spring weather. I’m so ready for it after the crazy winter weather we had here in Atlanta. Since it’s the beginning of a new month, I have my February Beauty Favorites to talk to you about! This month I’ve got quite a few products picked, so let’s go ahead and get into them!
What’s my favorite??
1. Dermalogica precleanse (5.1 oz / $37.00)
I started using this product in February and I’ve fallen head over heels in love with it’s cleansing abilities! You might ask if a “precleanse” is necessary and to be honest, I wasn’t sure at first. Since using this to remove my most stubborn eye makeup and all over my skin, I can tell a HUGE difference in my cleansing experience. I no longer have stubborn eyeliner or mascara that won’t come off. Here’s a video from Dermalogica explaining this product and it’s benefits. TRUST ME, you need this product in your routine! Psst. It even comes in convenient wipes!
2. Boots No7 Forest Fruits Stay Perfect Trio Eye Shadow Palette ($6.99+)
I was sent a couple of these shadow palettes to use a while ago and I am still really enjoying them. The Forest Fruits Palette is a gorgeous trio of purple shades. It’s the perfect palette for some much welcomed Spring looks!
3. Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Beauty’s Touch ($8.49+)
Not only is this product just visually gorgeous, it’s just as gorgeous applied on the skin. It can be used as a highlighter, blush or bronzer. It really gives my skin a nice, healthy glow, without being too obnoxious.
4. Nars Eye Paint Ubangi($25.00)
I LOVE this product. I blogged about a NARS event I went to previously (read about it here). I picked up several NARS products and Ubangi was one of them. It can be used as a liner or eyeshadow and it’s the most gorgeous shade of dark, navy blue with some major shimmer. And I totally mean shimmer in a good way. This is a great product to use for a beautiful, dark and deep smokey eye. I also love to do a heavy liner look with this. It lasts all day and doesn’t come off.
5. Flower Beauty Kiss Me Twice Lip & Cheek Chubby ($9.98)
I picked this up at WalMart because the color looked fantastic for both my lips and cheeks. It’s exactly what I pictured. It’s very, very pigmented and is a fantastic product for under $10.00. I love this on my cheeks (go sparingly at first) and on my lips. It can feel a tad bit grainy on my lips, but nothing I complain about. I plan on picking up a couple more of these including a new highlighter chubby stick.

6. The Balm’s Cindy-Lou Manizer ($24.00)
A highlighter that can also be used as a gorgeous pink, peach highlight shade. It’s a highly pigmented product, so a little bit goes a long way! I just adore this product.
7. Chanel Perfection Lumiere in Beige Rose ($57.00)
This is my typical go-to foundation for a good long-wearing finish. I’m the lightest shade in the range and it’s a perfect match. The coverage is light to medium, but can be built up. I love how it feels on my skin and it gives my skin a fabulous glow. Yes, it’s a high price tag, but for me, it works wonderfully with my skin. Next on my list its the Aqua Lumiere. I hear it’s super fab for much need hydrated skin!
8. MAC Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator ($28.00)
This, my friends, is my latest love. It’s something I reviewed (click here to read) and am still enjoying it’s fabulous exfoliating abilities. I HIGHLY suggest using this in the shower because it can be a tad messy, but it is so worth it. My skin is super soft and my pores seem smaller and my skin glows. This can also be used on the body, which is perfect as we are getting into warmer weather and we’ll soon be using sunless tanners!!
9. MAC Fix+ ($21.00)
I purchased this product on a whim and I’ve got a review coming up soon on the blog. I can tell you that I have used this for almost a month now and I”m still using it. That’s a good sign. I use it before makeup and after I’ve finished applying my makeup. It’s very soothing and seems to hydrate my skin great. It features green tea, chamomile, cucumber and the scent of Sugi. Stay tuned for a full review!!
