Here’s a look at my January Birchbox! I didn’t love this box this month, but I know that every month won’t be amazing. My main complaint with this month’s box was the sample size. Compared to my January Ipsy Bag, I felt like this bag didn’t really wow me. What did I get? Take a look!
–Alessandro Nail Polish in Blue Lagoon
A nice polish that seemed to not be super thick and didn’t chip. I didn’t love my color, but they have other options available.
–Harvey Prince Skinny Chic Perfume
A very strong (in my opinion) perfume featuring meyer lemon, grapefruit, and pink plumeria.
–Ojon damage reverse Instant Restorative Hair Serum
I love Ojon hair products and was excited to see this sample. This features exotic ojon and macadamia oils that work to smooth and hydrate the hair.
–theBalm Cosmetics Put a Lid On It Eyelid Primer
A company I have heard so much about before, so this was a nice addition to my box. Works great and I would even consider it if I run out of my beloved Too Faced Shadow Insurance
–Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream
So I believe I was supposed to get two of these packets to try, but I only got one. Not exactly enough for me to form an opinion on the product. I will say that I really do love Fresh Products. I have used several in the past and have really enjoyed them.
I will still continue to get my Birchboxes and I will still look forward to opening them up. I know that not every month is going to be amazing, but I hope my next box is a little better! Maybe I had high expectations for the January box?? Did you get a box? Let me know what you thought of yours!

I didn’t love my Birchbox this month either, but I did like the Kerastase masque that came in mine. My hair felt so great after using it!!
My Skinny Chic perfume sample is ok, but not a favorite. But I guess this is a good way to try them without the cost!!
The eyelid primer seemed to work well. At least my shadow stayed on thru a complete workout!! ha
