1. Jim Gaffigan Food: A Love Story $12.99 and up
My husband had been listening to some of Jim Gaffigan’s stand up routines and he is pretty hysterical. I enjoyed listening to him so much, that I remembered he had also written a couple books and I immediately went to my Nook and downloaded Food: A Love Story. I can not tell you how many times I’ll just start laughing over and over again while reading this book. He is right on board with my thinking about food and that can be a good thing and also a very bad thing. This man loves food and he isn’t ashamed of it. If you need a good laugh, you need this book in your life. PS The video I posted above is about the best damn thing I’ve seen about Kale in a long time!

Nice! I’ve been pretty interested in the FitBit. Something I’m considering to purchase 🙂

You totally should make a purchase! I really like seeing how many steps I’m taking a day, how I”m sleeping and I can keep track of my food, weight and exercise on it! It’s great!

Aww, Erica – I just found her too! (err..She found me?) LOL
So… here’s the thing about the fit bit. I didn’t get the black band (mistake) and I’ve had a ridiculous time “styling” it. I like to wear a watch and bracelets on my left wrist but I just can’t make it work with the FitBit. I’ve seen those Tory Burch FB accessories but they’re like $6840280 and poor graduate student Giliian cannot handle that. (Post idea – how to arm candy style with a FitBit – GO!). HALLLLP.
PS- Did you recently change your comment system to Disqus? How do you like it? I’m considering self-hosting :/:/:/ maybe…

The Tory Burch accessories are CRAZY expensive! I’ve looked at them and have considered them, BUT they are high $$. And I’m loving that styling challenge! I have often thought about changing up the arm that I wear them on and go with my right. I will have to work on this, ha!
I did just change my comment system. So far, it’s really nice and very easy! I’d recommend it for sure!

I loved using my Fitbit (until it quit charging). May just have to invest in another one.
It interesting to see the information that it gathers for you!
