Today is going to be all about my July Beauty Empties! I’ve actually used up quite a bit of products this month and I kinda feel like I deserve a prize or something because it’s so rare for me to finish up this many products, HA! This is a good mixture of high end and drugstore products. You’ll never find me only using one or the other. I like to mix it up! I can’t believe that I forgot to take pictures of all of the products before I threw them away. Oops. I don’t know what I was thinking, BUT I did film a video going over each of the products. So at least you can watch that! Let’s get right into it…
1. The Body Shop Coconut Cream Body Scrub $20.00
I love this body scrub. It’s not too harsh on my skin and it exfoliates nicely. Plus, the Coconut scent makes me feel like I’m on vacation for a couple of minutes. A girl can dream, right? I always suggest buying The Body Shop products when they are having a sale. Which is normally all of the time.
2. Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion $6.99
This is one of those products that I keep with me at all times. It’s not fragranced and is great for people with sensitive skin. This is fantastic for dry hands! I don’t find it to be sticky or greasy at all. I only purchased the small tube of this product, just so I can take it with me and keep it in my purse.
3. Gillette Satin Care W/ Olay Sugarberry $3.39
This is very, very inexpensive and I love it. I only need a very small amount of this product because a little bit goes a long way! The scent isn’t overpowering and I like it because it is really thick and doesn’t just slide off my legs as soon as I put it on.
4. MAC Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator $28.00
I looked and I have had this product since the middle of January and it’s not a huge tube, but you don’t need to use a lot at all. I have reviewed this product before and I have been out of it for a couple weeks and I can tell. My skin doesn’t seem as smooth and polished and my pores seem to be a little bit more enlarged. Obviously, I’ll be repurchasing this asap!
5. it Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness $32.00-$39.50 w/ brush
Oh my goodness. This has been the best product I have ever used to take away my redness on my skin. I can use it alone, almost like a foundation or I can layer more makeup on top of it, if necessary. It’s amazing. I used it to the point where I was taking a q-tip to the inside of the container to see if I can get anymore out of the jar. It’s fantastic and I recommend this product for anyone who suffers from hyper pigmentation or uneven skin tone! It’s so, so good!

6. Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate $16.00-$28.00
Several makeup artists and skincare therapists have used this on me and it’s one of those products that the “beauty world” raves about. So I finally ordered one and I haven’t looked back since. It’s great for my crazy combo skin. I use this day and night and it works perfectly when applying makeup. I used to be scared to apply my moisturizer before I put on foundation, but I love this moisturizer because it gives me the perfect canvas to apply makeup. I haven’t had a single bit of sensitivity to this product, which is very unusual for me. I struggle when it comes to foundations. I totally get the hype. Oh and the price might scare some of you, but since this is a concentrated product, you use barely any product each time. So the small tube will last you a long time!
7. Neutrogena makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths $6.99
These are just your basic everyday makeup removing wipes. I seem to prefer these over some of the others because they don’t tend to fall apart when you are taking your makeup off. I use these sometimes for my eyes, but mostly just my face. I still wash my face after using these, but you don’t have. I also like carrying these with me if it’s really hot and gross outside when i’m at the pool. These also don’t seem to irritate my skin and don’t seem to be heavily fragranced.
8. Aveda Shampure Shampoo $4.50-$40.00
This is one of my favorite scents. EVER. I just adore it. I can’t use this shampoo daily because it will dry out my scalp really badly, but every once in a while, I’ll use it. This is the shampoo I purchase for my husband. He loves the way it smells, too! This is actually a scent that a lot of men seem to like. I picked up some more Shampure products when I was at the Aveda store that I’ll be talking about on the blog soon! If you haven’t smelled this shampoo before…Do It! You won’t be sorry!!
9. Radical Skincare Advanced Antioxidant Serum $190.00
I know. You just saw that price tag and was like “This girl is crazy!!!” I get it. It’s a ton of money, but my skin has been fabulous since I’ve started using it! I have used a lot of serums and this one is the only one that has really made a noticeable difference in my skin. My complexion seems to be brighter, more even, less red. My pores seem to be smaller and my skin doesn’t seem to be as dry or oily. I adore this product and can totally justify the price tag, ONLY because this is a serum that has really worked for me and hasn’t caused me any sensitivity issues.

I’ve been using the Aveeno Lotion on myself and my daughters and we love how soft and smooth our skin is after using it.

I want to try the MAC exfoliator!

That MAC Exfoliator is a great find that I’m so glad I finally picked up. I’ve seen some cheaper “dupes” for it, but honestly I think this works the best.

I love anything that has coconut smell in it!I’m definitely going to have to try it! 🙂 I love the Aveeno brand! I’ve tried the cleanser and loved it! 🙂

The coconut one is so good! I’m currently using the Blueberry one and a Chocolate one also. They have different types of scrubs, so make sure you look at all that are available! Aveeno is a fantastic brand. Great for sensitive skin types!!

Madaline says
OMG! It sounds like its going to be an expensive August buying new products! I want to try this serum! But, boy, I do not want to try that price!
Christine says
This serum is fantastic. I know it’s a crazy amount of money, but even if your local Sephora carries this line, see if you can get a sample and give it a try. Most of the time they are very generous with their samples and you can get at least a week or two out of them. That way you can see if it works or not!
