My July reads were a thriller and the final book in the Dreamland Billionaires series. Not as much reading happened in July, but August is looking really good so far! I had six books become available at the library, so those are my main focus right now. Do not sleep on your library!!!

Final Offer by Lauren Asher
Really liked it/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (🌶️.5)
*available on Kindle Unlimited
This is the third (and sadly) final book in the Dreamland Billionaires series by Lauren Asher. The first book, Fine Print was a great intro into the lives of three brothers (grandchildren to a “disney-esque” fortune) who are obviously: extremely good looking, rich as hell, and each come with their own set of issues.
Final Offer, follows Cal’s journey as he comes back into Lana’s life. This does have mentions of addiction, alcohol abuse, abusive parent, so just an fyi. This book is for those of you who love second chance romances, small town vibes, and a man who wants to better himself and break the cycle. Overall a good book that is a great finale to the series.
I’d read this series if you love: grumpy sunshine, “who did this to you,” billionaire romance, enemies to lovers, office romance, single parent, etc.

Evie Porter must stay one step ahead of her past while making sure there’s still a future in front of her. The stakes couldn’t be higher—but then, Evie has always liked a challenge. . . .
I wanted to really love this book after reading so many of the incredible reviews, but I just didn’t end up loving it. I was curious as to what was going to happen in the storyline, but the ending of the book just left me a bit confused and I had to go back and listen to a couple of the chapters to make sure I understood what really happened. This could be more of a me problem, as so many people I know loved this book. (My friend Meghan loved this book! Check out her review) Definitely a twisty book that keeps you guessing until the end.
