I have always brought home (when I venture to Ohio) LUSH Bath Bombs for Princess Baths (AKA Magic Baths) for my Niece. So I thought it would be a fun treat if I were to send her some more “Magic Baths” in the mail for her Birthday. My Niece is ONLY 3 years old and is already getting sent LUSH…such the life! HA! So when I was in the store, I picked up an assortment of Bath Bombs and I saw the Granny Takes A Dip and thought to myself- This Looks Awesome! One for her, one for me! I finally got a chance to use it the other day and here are my thoughts!
“When you need a break from the real world, hide away in the tub with this psychedelic fizzer. Lie back and watch as its mesmerizing colorful swirls radiate around you, filling the air with the groovy multilayered scent of uplifting lemon oil, spicy black pepper and fresh ginger oil. Let your mind wander as the colors dance and swirl creating a hypnotizing spectacle, and eventually blend together to turn the water a deep comforting purple. Ready to make your triumphant return to reality? Emerge from the tub with softened, lightly perfumed skin and a clear mind.” –LUSH COSMETICS
LUSH Cosmetics Granny Takes A Dip Bath Bomb
PROS:
Smells Awesome! Very relaxing scent. Features Lemon Oil, Black Pepper and Ginger Oil.
The tub was turned into a gorgeous deep purple/pink color when it was done
My skin felt so soft after I got out of the bath
It actually has small pieces of Bubble Bar in it, so there are a small amount of bubbles (more like foam) that appear
It was a very long lasting bath bomb
Retails for $6.95, which is a pretty normal price for most LUSH Bath Bombs.
CONS:
I didn’t think it did as many colorful changes as I would have hoped for, but it was still beautiful and fun to look at!
Here’s a video I filmed of the Granny Takes A Dip Bath Bomb in action!
Would I repurchase it? Maybe. However, there are others I like a lot more than this one. It was fun to try something new and while it didn’t dissapoint me, it didn’t really wow me either. Have you tried the LUSH Cosmetics Granny Takes A Dip Bath Bomb? Let me know your thoughts below!

Love that name haha! I haven’t even been to a LUSH store yet, but I do think there is one about 45 minutes away.

Aha! The name!! that is a funny name for bath bomb, hehe. However, it does sound like it would smell amazing!

It was actually named after a Boutique in the 60’s!

Love Lush’s bath bombs! Especially ones that really give you a show. I’ve never tried this one but a purple bath does look really appealing. I wish it was a bit more exciting though.

Yeah this one didn’t do a lot of fancy explosions or colors, like some of them do, BUT, it did feel great on the skin and smelled wonderful.
