I always look forward to receiving the Pink Ipsy Mailer in my mailbox because I know that I have a great, brand new Ipsy Bag to open! I just got back from the Caribbean and as soon as I opened up the package and saw the nautical makeup bag, I was so sad I didn’t get this sooner because this would have been super cute to have taken with me! Besides the bag, this seemed to be a really great bag, once again.
This month’s theme is Great Escape. I mean, look at how cute the nautical bag is! Here’s what was included in my bag:
Yaby Eyeshadows: 2 eyeshadows: I got two shades. The first one is this gorgeous dark teal color ( So Vein) and the second is a fabulous, neutral shade (Sand Dunes). The pigment on these seems nice so far, but I haven’t used them a lot. I did some research on this brand and these eyshadows are very affordable! I looked over some of the reviews on the companies website and it was hit or miss. I’m going to keep trying them out to see what I think about them. **I’m still trying to figure out if this was a full sized product. I’m kinda thinking it is after reading reviews, but not sure.
LA Fresh Makeup Remover Wipes: I have never used this brand before, but have heard a lot about them. First of all, I love how tiny this package is! It’s perfect for keeping in your purse and for travel. The smell was so-so to me. It reminded me of a baby wipe, which isn’t horrible, but not great. This is a very eco friendly wipe as it features biodegradable and compostable materials. I tested it with the black color (Crave) in my Naked Basics Urban Decay Palette and it removed it pretty good without really having to wipe the color off like crazy. This does contain Vitamin E, which is an added bonus!
Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist: I am so in love with this product. It contains rosehip, ylang ylang, resveratrol grapeseed oil and other juices, that gives you this incredible refreshing scent and hydration for the skin. I read a lot of reviews about this product and can’t believe people complained about the smell because I think it’s amazing. This was a great sample size and I will probably re-purchase this product when this one is finished.
Glam RX Mini Freestyle Palette: This palette was made especially for Ipsy and it contains a mirror on one side and on the bottom of the palette is a plain, magnetized area for you to put your eyeshadows, blushes, etc in if they are potted. When I first saw this and opened it up, I was like what is this, but I did some research and figured it out. I also think this would be a great place to keep bobby pins with you while on the go! Glam RX also has a normal sized Touch Up Palette makeup palette that is pretty neat.
Overall, I still LOVE my Ipsy subscription. For only $10.00 a month, I get to try some really neat products and I love the extra makeup bags I get to keep. I highly suggest checking out this subscription if you haven’t! If you have, what did you get this month??
