My Latest Beauty Obsessions

Today it’s all about my latest beauty obsessions! Even though I might not be full glam most days, you can’t take the beauty lover out of me no matter what! I will still shop and browse new releases. I still read all the reviews on social media and see what everyone is recommending. I still follow quite a few influencers for makeup and skincare tips! Also, I still love researching the best makeup, the latest skincare, and hair products to keep my hair looking its best! That’s why I started this blog.

So here’s my latest beauty obsessions! These are the skincare and makeup products that I’ve been using and loving. Some aren’t brand-new, they’re just new-to-me.

My Beauty Obsessions: Skincare Products I’m Loving

While I might not be wearing a full face of makeup, I have been on top of my skincare game. I need to post an updated skincare routine as I’ve really worked on incorporating more hydrating and soothing ingredients into my routine, as well as including more products to help with my rosacea. Bottom line? It all seems to be working as my skin has been fantastic.

LED Light Therapy: Glotech™ Mask Pro (Gifted)

I was gifted a Glotech™ Mask Pro to experience from LED Esthetics and I’ve been using it every single day since I received the package. I plan on doing an in-depth review and explanation of LED light therapy once I’ve used it for at least four weeks.

First impressions are that I feel like my redness has gone way down and I think my complexion is a lot more radiant?!? Time will tell.

Prequel Facial Gleanser: A Facial Cleanser For All

This cleanser is great for all skin types, but I love it for those of us who are more dry to sensitive. It’s one of the most gentle cleansers that I’ve used and for the price, the bottle is gigantic! It contains Glycerin, Inulin, Oat Extract, Aloe and so many other ingredients that are great for removing impurities, helping with oil control, and helping to soothe the skin. I use this as my second cleanser in the PM and I am so incredibly happy with it.

I’m so excited for Prequel because the brand is officially launching at Target on August 18th! The company was created by board-certified dermatologist Sam Ellis and the brand went viral on TikTok.

Torriden Balanceful Cica Toner Pad 

I picked up these toning pads when I visited Teso Life (a huge Japanese department store in Duluth, GA) in July. I was so excited to see so many K-Beauty brands readily available, including Torriden, which I’ve heard so many good things about.

These toning pads are said to be mildly exfoliating, as well as providing some soothing properties to the skin. I’ve been using them once a day and so far, no irritation and my skin does feel quite smoothe. Once I finish them, I’ll do a full review. I do have to say that I LOVE the packaging.

*I’d like to order the Hyaluronic Acid pad as well for more hydration!

My Beauty Obsessions: Makeup Products I’m Loving

NYX Powder Louder Brow Pencil

I believe I saw someone on TikTok (I’m pretty sure) mention this drugstore brow pencil by NYX. While shopping at Taret, I spotted it in the store and picked it up. So far, I am really impressed with the quality of the pencil. The product glides on and easy to apply. I feel like you can easily fill in the brows and also create hair-like strokes. It’s noted that it contains bamboo fibers to help volumize the brows. (I don’t know what to think about that) I like that it also has a brow spoolie at the end and the product itself feels high-end.

One thing to note, It’s not a super skinny pencil, so if you’re wanting a really thin applicator, I’d go with this one from Covergirl.

I believe I could have possibly gone lighter with the color (I chose soft brown, but I’d like to try Taupe) BUT it does work for a dramatic brow look. I am so impressed with this one. I like that I can fill in gaps where my hair is sparse and it seems to last!

Maybelline Lifter Liner Lip Liner Pencil

After hearing someone talk about this lip liner and comparing it to the SUPER POPULAR Makeup For Ever Wherever Walnut, I had to try this pencil out. First of all, this feels high-end. It is SO PIGMENTED and glides on the lips very easily. I’m so impressed that I ordered two more shades. Highly recommend checking this one out!
