Last week I shared with you the start of my new series, The Five Products I’m Obsessing Over This Week. My picks for this week are all about radiant, luminous skin that glows. I think it’s safe to say that we all want skin that basically shines like a disco ball, ha! However, skin that glows isn’t always something we’re blessed with naturally. Good thing there are products that really help you fake it! The comments I hear most about my skin is “Wow it looks so radiant! Your skin glows!” That’s from a serious skincare routine AND makeup folks. Let the makeup do the work for you if your skin isn’t naturally doing something you want!
So my pick for my top five products this week are basically all about giving your face that luminous look! #shinelikeadiamond right!?!? I’ve been having some great skin days if I’m being honest. I’m just about to finish up my 30 Day Korean Skincare Challenge and I’m really, really happy with my results so far! However, I still need some help in making my skin glow as I normally use a matte foundation in the summer time along with a powder. In order to help my skin not get oily throughout the day, I’m really locking the makeup in place with the powder, which makes my skin look very matte. So, I have some tricks up my sleeve!
My Weekly Top Five #2
Laura Geller Baked Bronze n Brighten Powder with Brush $38.00
I had used this on someone recently when doing their makeup and I loved it! It’s the perfect color for adding a pop of bronze to the skin. It’s not just bronze, it’s also very luminous also! The brush is so soft and the perfect way to apply just enough of the product! Little bit of sparkle, but nothing that looks obnoxious or too much. I love this because I’m fair and pretty much try to avoid the sun at all costs. #vampire This gives my skin life and color!
Prep + Prime Highlighter (Light) $26.00
I purchased this in the color Light and it works fantastic as a concealer and a highlighter. I know a lot of people who swear by the Radiant Rose shade, which I might pick up later. This reminds me of the YSL Touche Eclat but maybe with a little bit more coverage. I use this to conceal under my eyes, my chin and the top of my forehead in the middle. It gives a more awaken look to the face. Just click the product and place on the areas you want and blend!
Prep + Prime Natural Radiant Base (Yellow) $41.00
This base is gorgeous! It hydrates the skin, helps with oil control and gives this skin an even, smooth texture. It has illuminating pearl powders that give the skin a gorgeous glow. I chose the shade Yellow to help neutralize the redness in my skin. I believe that you can also purchase this in a pink shade as well. It doesn’t break me out, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and it does give a really nice radiant look to the skin! I love to take a product like this to help fake that glow! Plus, it’s helping conceal some of my redness and it features an SPF!
Prep+Prime CC Color Correcting Primer $31.00
I can’t even tell you how much I love this product. Not only can I use it as a primer to help with oil control and helping my foundation last longer, but it’s also color correcting. Similar to what I just talked about above, but a little different and more coverage. I purchased this in the shade yellow because again, I wanted it to help neutralize my redness. I can actually wear this on it’s own and somehow the color just works on my skin to just even everything out enough for me to feel confident without throwing on a ton of makeup. Would I suggest this product? YES! It comes in three other shades and I love that it features an SPF 30! This really gives my skin a nice, natural glow to it!

Dr. Dennis Gross Clinical Concentrate Hydration Booster $68.00
Oh DDG, you did it again! I have found another product that I am really enjoying using! This product features hyaluronic acid, watermelon extract and it helps to soften the skin and keep it hydrated. You can use this on it’s own or you can use this with other skincare and makeup! Feeling dry? Add a couple of drops into your foundation! Add it to your serums or moisturizers. The possibilities are up to you! This bottle actually came with my DDG steamer which I’m going to talk about on the blog very soon!
I hope that you’re enjoying the weekly round up of favorites as much as I am! It’s fun to show you guys what products I’m really loving weekly! A lot of people have asked me why I use so many different products and I have two answers for that. One, I pay attention to my skin and use different products as my skin changes. Two, I just have a lot of products since I’m a Beauty Hoarder, ha! What products have you been loving this week? PS DO you guys like that I’m posting on the weekends? Should I keep that up?!? I do love me a good under eye brighter. The MAC Prep and Prime in Light Boost is becoming my BFF! Totally more coverage than the YSL Touche Eclat. I think I need that LG blush/bronzer like ASAP!
