It’s that time again! This month my favorites are a little bit different because it’s all products from one brand. That brand being Flower Beauty. They were a staple on my makeup desk and I never even put them away, so I thought it was fitting that they be my favorites for the month of November.
Flower Beauty is a makeup line created by the lovely Drew Barrymore. I think she just seems like the most sweet, genuine person. I love that she is involved in her line and she has a video she shares with her fans on Tuesday called “Tip Tuesday.” She is a super famous celebrity who has had access to some of the best people in the beauty industry, so I know that she has had to have learned a lot and I love that she is sharing her love of the beauty world and her knowledge of a good beauty product with us.
Here are some of the Flower Beauty products that I chose as my favorites:
About Face Foundation: Shade LF3
$13.98 (1 oz) Fragrance Free, Paraben Free, Vitamins C&E for Anti-Aging Benefits
I love this full coverage foundation. I only need 1-2 pumps to completely cover my skin and any imperfections such as redness. It seems to really brighten my complexion and I love that it’s not heavy on my skin. It seems to work great on my combination skin and I’ve used it with and without a primer and had no problems. The shade I got, LF3, seems to work for my skin tone, but I almost picked up LF4 at the store. I might go back and pick it up and see what I think of that shade as well. This is a beautiful foundation that comes packaged in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser. I love the rose gold detailing on the bottle and find that the pump works great at dispensing the product. This is a 1 oz bottle that was priced at $13.98. I would say this foundation is just as good, if not better, than some of my more expensive foundations that I’ve used.
Shadow Play Eyeshadow Quad: Foxy Browns
$9.98 (.21 oz) Ginko Biloba extract for soft and supple lids
Possibly my favorite Flower Beauty product I’ve ever used. This set of eyeshadows is gorgeous! It’s very pigmented and applies very smooth. These shadows are way better than some of the higher priced shadows I’ve used and the best part is that they don’t seem to crease on my lids. I have used these with and without primers, but either way, they last! I can’t get over how gorgeous this set of colors is together and I realize now that I will for sure be picking up more sets of the eyeshadows because I can’t get over how great they apply and the colors are fabulous. This is a great quad for me to travel with and have a great day or night look. Packaging is lovely, especially with the eyeshadows being fully visible in the package. I love the touches of rose gold and the overall package doesn’t seem too “cheap” as some plastic cases can be. It does come with a brush that is decent, but I still use my normal makeup brushes.
Shine On Lip Gloss: Shade Lovely Lotus
$6.98 Medium Build-able Coverage
This lipgloss is perfect for those of you who typically hate lip gloss because it’s too sticky or too heavily scented. This is a great lipgloss that I keep in my purse and touch up with. It’s not sticky and feels very moisturizing on my lips. There were quite a few of these lip glosses that I know I’d like to purchase and the fact that they are so reasonable, means that I can! The color that I got is a gorgeous pink color that is a very similar color to my own lips with just a touch more pink. It’s a fantastic find!
Kiss Stick Velvet Lip Color: Shade Tender Tuberose
$6.98 (.12oz) Emollient Oils improve shine for a rich, creamy application
This lipstick was love at first application! It’s super creamy and very pigmented. The color I purchased, Tender Tuberose, is such a lovely color. I love the packaging of the lipstick. It’s in a gorgeous white tube, with touches of rose gold. It also has a swatch of color on the package so you can see the actual lipstick color. I love this because sometimes tubes of lipsticks get thrown in drawers and you forget what colors you have. This lipstick is just as good as some of the higher priced lipsticks I own, probably better. There is a great color selection available and there are also lip butters and a high shine collection.
Win Some, Rouge Some Creme Blush: Shade Forget-Me-Not
$7.98 (.14 oz) Soft Powder Like Finish, Perfect for building up coverage
I love a good creme blush and this one is a perfect example of a formula done right! This creme blush transfers onto the cheeks and gives you a gorgeous, powder like finish. The color I chose, Forget-Me-Not, is a pretty peachy color, but I’m a bit confused because online it appears that it’s supposed to be a pale pink. In fact, the one I picked up looks more like the color Peach Blossom, but I could be wrong?!? Anyways, the color is beautiful! It comes packaged in a white pot with rose gold details. This works great on my sometimes oily cheeks and adds just enough color to brighten up my complexion.
Easy On The Eyes Long Wear Eyeliner: Shade Brown
$6.98 Creamy and Blend-able, Long Wear Formula, Soft and Bold Looks
This eyeliner might just be my holy-grail, never leave home without it product. I struggle with eye products because I have sensitive eyes and I normally end up teary eyed and with product below my eyes. This eyeliner lasts ALL DAY! It doesn’t move and it doesn’t irritate my eyes. It’s very creamy and very pigmented. Its a twist up eyeliner, but also comes with a sharpener to keep up the shape. I purchased this in the color brown, because let’s be honest, we don’t need black everyday. I love this brown with my blue eyes. It can give you a dramatic look or a soft classic day eye. This pencil is amazing and I will for sure be picking up several of the other shades that are available.
Zoom In Ultimate Mascara:Shade Intense Black
$7.98 Features an adjustable brush, D-Pantenol to smooth and stimulate growth, Rice Wax for smudge proof look
I’ve never seen a brush like this before. It starts off as a simple, very long brush, but if you twist up the bottom of the product, it turns into a spiral type brush. This allows you to really lengthen and give your lashes mega volume. I am obsessed with the rose gold package, but am even more impressed with the actual formula of this mascara. It doesn’t smudge on me at all and it does seem to flake either. I never have raccoon eyes and it doesn’t make my eyes water. I’m in LOVE with this mascara and I haven’t touched my YSL or Dior in almost a month. Yep, I just said that out loud. There are two other mascaras in the Flower Beauty collection and I need to pick them up and see how they compare to this one.
Powder Trip Powder Foundation: Shade PP2
$9.98 Talc-Free, Paraben-Free, Fragrance-Free, Vitamins C&E for Anti-Aging Benefits
I purchased this a long time ago and I used it, but I somehow left it in a purse that I forget about and one day recently, while cleaning I found it. I really like this product because it’s the perfect color for me for my skin tone and it really takes care of any shine I have on my skin. I seemed to have lost my brush that it came with, but it was actually pretty good for touch ups and simp applications. I don’t’ really use this as a foundation, but more of a setting powder and to touch up during the day. Great powder!
The Flower Beauty product line is a fabulous beauty line that is actually a lot better than some of the higher-priced lines that are out there. This is in no way a product line I’d expect to find at Walmart. In fact, that’s the only store that it is carried at. I love and hate this. I love this because it means that a lot of people are going to be able to purchase this line, but I don’t frequent Walmart that often. The good thing is that even if your Walmart doesn’t carry the product line, you can purchase them online! This is a makeup line that I really suggest you look into if you are looking for some new, affordable products. You would never know that most of these products are under $10.00 because they feel luxurious and premium. I rarely rave about product lines, but when I do, you know it’s a product line that I really believe in and feel that they are worth raving about.

There is a lot of information about each product and you can purchase products straight from the website (It will re-direct you to Walmart’s website). For tutorials and to see the lovely Drew Barrymore, click here!
