So Long, Urban Decay Naked Palette. I'm going to miss you.

The Urban Decay Naked Palette is being discontinued. I can’t believe I’m typing these words right now. My favorite eyeshadow palette, the Naked Palette by Urban Decay is being discontinued. It was the first palette that I fell in love with. It’s the one palette that I can still use that never gets old. It’s the perfect collection of eyeshadows for anyone who loves a good nude look. I LOVE IT and a part of me is really sad that it’s being discontinued, BUT another part of me is really happy that I can snag it 50% off right now! #SCORE

Urban Decay Naked Palette Is Being Discontinued

I mean, I guess I get it. It’s a palette that’s been around FOREVER, but I’m still a little bit sad to see it go. This palette, out of all the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, is and will always be my favorite. As you can see from the picture below, I used up the first three colors and hit pan on them because they were daily favorites. That’s not to say I didn’t use the other colors, because I did!

Why am I typing this blog post? Because I had to say goodbye to one of the palettes that really made me fall in love with the whole “beauty” world. I remember the excitement behind the launch of this product and it was this exact palette that created the entire frenzy of brands trying to create palettes to compete with this one. The truth is, this is an OG product that doesn’t go out of style. It’s the best in my opinion and I’m going to miss walking into stores and seeing it on display, remembering all the hype and excitement behind that one product launch and what it did for the beauty community!

Urban Decay Naked Palette Collection — This was a picture I had taken to show some of the released Naked Palettes for an older blog post. You can see, the original Naked Palette is the only one that I’ve used up some of the eyeshadows. It will always be my favorite! *Not pictured is the Naked Heat Palette.

So long, Urban Decay Naked Palette. You were the best palette because you proved that neutral was never boring. You gave me matte, satin, shimmer and sparkle finishes that I loved. I’m going to miss you!
