It’s time to brag about another fabulous skincare product. Ole Henriksen (pronounced ooh-la) has studied cosmetic chemistry and has a lot of experience working with various celebrities. He promotes his brand to treat the face and body while helping achieve overall health and wellness. Each of his products feature four key elements: Nature, Science, Beauty and Wellness. The thing I love most about his products are the fact that they smell amazing, are at a great price point and they provide you with fantastic results!
One product in particular that I find myself using over and over again is the Blue/Black Berry Enzyme Mask. This clear gel mask, helps take my skin from feeling and looking dull, to refreshed and hydrated! I have issues with skin sensitivities and have had zero problems with this product. The first thing you will notice when applying this product is that it has a strong smell of lavender. So if you aren’t a lover, I wouldn’t advise purchasing this product. However, if you are like me, and love the smell of lavender, go ahead and treat yourself! This mask features a blend of papaya enzymes, blueberries, blackberries and lavender. It will gently exfoliate the skin and help any issues with clogged pores, dirt, oil and dull looking skin.
I apply a thick layer and leave on for twenty minutes. I must note that when I use this product, I can become a little red and my skin feels pretty warm. It never got uncomfortable for me, but it’s important to add, that if it does become uncomfortable for you, take it off. It’s always important when using a new skincare product that you spot test first before applying to the rest of your skin. After twenty minutes, I rinse off the mask and follow with my normal skincare routine. This mask can be used up to two-three times a week. I find that is a bit too much for me and only use about once a week.
This mask leaves my skin feeling silky smooth, hydrated and refreshed. It’s a great mask to use during these cold, winter months. I’m all for a product that will help take away dull, dead, tired looking skin and bring back my natural glow! I purchased this product at Sephora and paid $32.00. I’ve had it for well over three months and I have quite a bit left. I have used several other of his products and haven’t found one that I didn’t like, so his line is well worth looking into. He is known for his Vitamin C Truth Serum which is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I’m sure there will be more Ole Henriksen products popping up from time to time in my blog!

It’s a shame because this mask works great!!! I’d suggest Philosophy Enzyme Peel instead maybe?!? http://www.sephora.com/the-microdelivery-purifying-peel-one-minute-purifying-enzyme-peel-P264934

A really cool tip- use the Vitamin C Truth Serum UNDER the Blueberry mask, leave on 20 minutes and rinse off. The mask helps the vitamin C to really penetrate the skin. Brightening like you wouldn’t believe!
