It’s no secret that I suffer from a little bit of skin sensitivity and redness, especially on my cheeks. It’s something that really bothers me, but thanks to Paula’s Choice products, it has finally been able to be controlled. When I heard about this new product, I was excited to add it to my skin care routine. The Clinical Instant Calm Advanced Redness Relief is great for anyone with any redness, rosacea and any skin sensitivity. This liquid-treatment, which has a blend of antioxidants and soothing anti-irritants such as willow bark and components of green tea, help to calm the skin and allow it to heal. As usual, this is also a 100% fragrance/dye free product and it hasn’t been tested on animals. All the more reason to love this product if you ask me.
This is great product for so many people and so many different skin issues. From post-shaving, redness from acne, any type of hair removal or even a painful sunburn. It’s simple to add to your skincare routine. Just use this with a cotton ball and saturate the areas of concern or swipe it all over the face. Paula’s Choice website suggests that if you are using this as an after shave to pour a quarter sized amount into the palm of your hand and wipe over the face (do not rinse off). I use this immediately after I wash my skin and I follow it with an exfoliant ( liquid BHA or AHA), a serum and finally a moisturizer with an SPF.
I can tell a big difference in my skin since using this product. I had my redness pretty much under control before, but I still have the occasional redness issue and adding this product into my routine has really helped. Since it’s summertime and I have been outside more, I have also used this for a minor sunburn and it really helped to calm the area down and it seemed to heal much faster.
