Rimmel London Gentle Eye Make Up Remover

Rimmel London Gentle Eye Make Up Remover is something I’ve seen so many times in stores before, but never picked up.  I was on a quick weekend trip recently and realized I left my CVS Eye Makeup Remover wipes at home, so I needed something else to use.  For some reason, this product kept sticking out in my head and I took it as a sign that I needed to try it out.  I’m so, so happy I forgot my wipes at home because I really liked the Rimmel London product, a lot! 

When it comes to eye makeup removers, I have to be super careful!  Some will sting and burn my eyes so bad, I’ll be crying for an hour.  The problem with some of the formulas out there, is that sometimes the ones that are great for my eyes, don’t take off my makeup easily or they leave behind a very oily residue. The Rimmel London Eye Make Up Remover didn’t burn my eyes at all and it removed the eye makeup nicely.  Plus, it also removes waterproof makeup great!  If you have sensitive eyes, I’d really suggest giving this product a chance!

To use this product, just dampen a cotton pad or ball with this product and apply it to the eye area and let it sit on there for a good ten seconds or so and then wipe away the eye makeup, gently!  All it took was a wipe or two and my eyes were clean as can be.  I will note that if you have very dry eyes, this product might be a little drying, so be sure to follow up with a really good eye cream. 

I’m always happy to be able to suggest budget friendly products on my blog.  While I don’t mind paying a decent bit of money for a product if it works,  I’m always thrilled when I find a good drug store product that works just as good, if not better, than the high end one. If you have any other “budget friendly” products like this that you’d want to share with me, be sure to comment below and let me know!
