I have had the worst luck with having dry, chapped lips lately and it’s been hell. I’ve tried so many products, stopped using liquid lipsticks and have been trying to figure out what the heck is causing it. Yes, I’ve been drinking tons of water! I’ve tried several products and so far, these are the three products that helped my dry lips the most!
Purlisse Daily Lip Nourisher $16.00
I.LOVE.THIS.STUFF. I think this has been the biggest saving grace for my lips and I’m so thankful that they sent it to me to try. It’s not greasy, but it’s insanely hydrating. I use this during the day and it’s been wonderful. It is petroleum-free, contains Mango & Shea Butters, Jojoba & Rice Bran oils and also Vitamin E. This is a miracle worker y’all!
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask $26.00
This mask has been raved about for so long, but I was so behind in picking it up. I get the hype now. It’s fantastic. I use this at night after I’ve competed my entire skincare routine and exfoliated my lips. I slather it on (a little bit goes a long way) and I wake up with super soft, hydrated lips. It features Organic Agave Nectar, Jojoba Oil, Vanilla C02 Extract, and Trans-Resveratrol. It’s very thick and it’s so, so good!
They also recently introduced the Agave Lip Balm and Scrub which I’m really excited to try!
Sara Happ Lip Scrub $24.00
This lip scrub was one that I picked up on a whim shopping a couple of years ago. It’s incredible. They have different “flavors” available, but the one I picked up was Tangerine (I thought?!?!) but it’s no longer available that I see. DOn’t worry, they have tons of options such as Brown Sugar, Passion Fruit, Sparkling Peach, Creme Brûlée and many more. This scrub is magic on my lips. It’s not too harsh of an exfoliant and it’s made of food-grade essential oils and sugar crystals that will leave your lips flake-free and super soft. Paraben-Free, Gluten-Free and Vegan.
Simply Stine’s Lip Routine:
- Scrub Lips with Exfoliant and remove with a tissue or water
- Apply Lip Mask at night and work it into the lips
- Apply Lip Balm during the day as needed and get one with an SPF!
Using a combination of these three lip products have seriously saved my lips. No longer are they rough, flaked and dry. Instead, they’re smooth and soft. I am so happy that I can finally wear lipsticks again without fear of my lips looking a hot mess!

I didn’t had any luck with agave lip mask .. mine was kind of coming out in waxy pieces. Checked with the Sephora and they said you probably got a bad one. I need to try that mask again. ?

I wasn’t so sure of it at first BUT the more I used it, the more I noticed it really making a difference in the way my lips felt when I woke up. I got this as a sample size in a kit I had purchased, but I fully plan on repurchasing the regular size when this one is finished. Mine def does not come out in waxy pieces but it is very, very thick formula.

Oh girl…I have had the WORST dry lips lately! And I’ve been drinking more water too — it’s just this weather I guess. Unfortunately the BITE lip mask didn’t do much for me. I love the First Aid Beauty lip balm…that helps me a ton!

It seems like everyone has been complaining about their lips! I also have the FAB Lip Balm and I used to only use that one before Purlisse sent me their version to try. I’m a huge fan of FAB!

this is a good one, but I also like to use honey and a little bit of sugar. It works as well!

I have chronically chapped, super dry lips so I’m always looking for new products to try. The Purlisse treatments sounds really promising for me, and it’s not too expensive!
