Nordstrom at Phipps Plaza was hosting a NARS Mega Event this past weekend and invited me in to try some of their new products. I got a chance to have Aisha Alves, Lead Trainer, and Stylist for NARS, spend some time with me. She is fabulous! Here’s a Valentine’s Day Look With NARS!
I got a chance to learn more about the NARS Skincare line and she gave me a gorgeous, sexy Valentine’s Day look. Aisha knows her stuff! We bonded over our love for the new NARS Final Cut Collection, a Nordstrom exclusive and I knew the moment she asked if I was ok with sparkle, that I had found a makeup artist who understood me!

She prepped my skin with some of the NARS Skincare line to start. I have no idea why I haven’t ever used it because it felt great on my skin. Even throughout the rest of the day, my face never got oily or had any reactions to it. I’ve got it on my list of items I need to go back and purchase.
I gave her complete control over my look and I just asked if she could give me a sexy Valentine’s Day look focusing on my eyes. I normally play up my lips so I wanted to focus on my eyes this time. She didn’t disappoint!
She taught me some new tricks with brushes and chose colors that I loved. It was a very approachable look and I think it would be easy to duplicate. I find that personal time with a makeup artist is so worthwhile. I can never learn enough when it comes to makeup because the looks are always changing and they are always teaching me new techniques that I never would have thought of.

Also pictured is my bestie who was getting her makeup done from Adrian Rios, another NARS Makeup Artist. I was obsessed with her eyes!! He chose gorgeous colors on her and I was so proud that he got her to wear a lip because she never does!
We both loved our looks and I picked up a couple products that you’ll see below! I’ll be going back for a couple of blushes that I SHOULD have picked up that day.

That looks like so much fun! Nars has the BEST concealer ever! They sent me 6 tubs so i could find my shade. I still haven’t used it all yet but when I do I will def be getting more! Love love the before and after pics!
