Today’s post is going to be featuring e.l.f. Cosmetics, which is one of my favorite go-to drugstore brands to use in my beauty routine. Not only do they have makeup and skincare, but they’re killing it with beauty tools as well! Not all drugstore beauty products are the same, but honestly, the same thing can be said about luxury items as well.
I’ve tried countless big dollar beauty products that have left me underwhelmed and/or just didn’t work out for me in the end. I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that I’ve loved every single e.l.f. Cosmetics product that I’ve tried because that’s just not true. However, there are quite a few products that have really left me impressed and have found a permanent spot in my beauty routine.
e.l.f. Makeup and Skincare Products I’m Loving
I love this palette because it features four different highlight shades that allow you to customize a shade for your complexion. Sometimes I wear just one of the colors, sometimes I mix them up. The choice is up to you! The pigment with these colors is so good and honestly, I’d put this up against any of my more expensive palettes that I have in my collection. PRO TIP: Apply this to your cheekbones, brow bones and cupid’s bow for a gorgeous glow!
When it comes to eyelid primers, this is one of my favorites and it’s only $2.00! It works awesome at keeping my shadow in place AND it doesn’t break the bank. PRO TIP: You don’t need a lot of this product! Cover your eyelids and wait for the product to dry before applying your eyeshadow! This really helps make your eyeshadow POP on the eyes!
I found these fragrance-free cleansing cloths in my skincare stash one day and realized I’d never tried them before. They are so good at removing my eye makeup and they don’t irritate my sensitive eyes. I read a lot of the reviews about these and a lot of people complained about using them with sensitive skin, but I didn’t find that to be true for myself. They’re nicely “soaked” in the product (I hate those dryer cleansing cloths) and they are only $3.00! Total beauty steal if you ask me! PRO TIP: I love to keep these in my makeup drawer and use them if I have a makeup accident. AKA mascara or eyeliner issues! Plus, if you’re a blogger and you’re doing tons of swatching, these are great to clean up with!
This two-in-one product is a recent try for me. One side highlights and the other side defines the lips. Here’s how I use it: I use the defining side to outline my lips and fill them in and I use the highlight shade in the center of my lips to give a highlight to my lips. It’s easy to use and I love the rosy color that this pencil offers. It’s $3.00 and it’s awesome! Plus, it even comes with a built-in sharpener! PRO TIP: Use this pencil to line the lips (or fill them in) and use the highlight shade on your cupid’s bow to give a pop of glow to the lips! It’s a great pencil to carry around in your purse because the shade looks amazing on so many skin tones!
To me, there’s nothing better than a good cream eyeshadow. This Aqua Beauty Molton Liquid Eyeshadow is so good, I can’t find a single flaw to it. Plus, it’s only $4.00!! It’s smooth, it is highly pigmented and it’s gorgeous on its own or layered with other colors. It’s such a beautiful product and a total steal being under $5.00! PRO TIP: I love to use this even as a highlight shade on my cheekbones. The rose gold is a gorgeous shade for this! I even find this is a pretty good dupe for the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin.
I have no idea how this is only $4.00, but let me tell ya, it’s really good! There are several color options available, but I love the St. Lucia one the most. This reminds me of NARS so much and honestly, it’s just as good! The combination of colors works so well together! For the most part, I really love the blushes and contour palettes that e.l.f. Cosmetics has! PRO TIP: Pop the blush shade on the apples of your cheeks and bronze your face, starting at your temples and work your way to your cheekbones and under your jaw in the shape of the number 3. This color combination is gorgeous on so many skin tones AND I love to use these shades as eyeshadows also!
Why do I love e.l.f. Cosmetics products so much? They’re budget friendly AND they work great! I think this is one brand that has really upped its game when it comes to the products that they have available in their lineup. I’m constantly asked about lower priced beauty brands because people need to watch their money and I get it! So, don’t be fooled by their low prices and give their products a try the next time you’re needing to treat yo self to something!

I do love it when you review some “cheaper” products. I for one cannot afford many higher end products, so this really helps me choose those I might want to try! I also like the tips on how you use the product when applying them.

They have some pretty great products and then some other products that I just don’t love BUT I think I find that in all brands! Lately, their new releases have been amazing and I love their price points because everyone can afford a couple of their products every now and then.

I love elf! I used to only wear their eyeshadow primer – need to go back to it! And I need to try their shadows. I have used their blush brush exclusively for years!

I love e.l.f but I haven’t tried the illuminating palette yet, I’m dying to!

I love ELF products, but I actually haven’t picked up anything new from them in awhile.
I used to use the eyelid primer religiously! But then my eyelids began to get too oily for it, so I had to stop using it because it wasn’t holding up. But it’s awesome!
